Deep grief deeply hurts. It actually hurts physically. Grieving can be all consuming for a time and our culture does a poor job of supporting us when we're in it. We grieve when people who are important to us die, when we lose a job, when a friendship or romantic relationship ends, when we or someone we love gets a difficult medical diagnosis, when we realize we have lost ourselves, when we are betrayed, the list is endless. It's a natural human response to losses of all kinds.
Each person grieves differently and there is no one-true-way to move with it that will work for everyone. People try to help grieving folks by giving them advice (often ill fitting or just plain bad) rather than listening and being with. Even after a death, most folks who express support move back to their lives after about three weeks, way before the grieving person has started to come to terms with their loss.
I know about grief. I lost three close family members in the space of 14 weeks in 2020. My husband (who has given me permission to share this) has a progressively debilitating and incurable illness. I have deeply learned that using our bodies as well as our feelings and thoughts make grief more bearable. I have used all of the habits and practices I will show you in this group and I know they work.
Embodied Grief is a coaching group designed to help you learn and practice ways of moving with grief by using your body, and learning ways to sooth yourself when your grief is too much. This group focuses on:
* What grief is and how it effects your body as well as your emotions, thoughts and spiritual connections
* How to stay present and express grief in healthy ways
* How to move the energy of grief through your body doing things like shaking, dancing, breath work, primal expression
* What you individually need (everyone grieves differently) and how to provide it for yourself

This is a 7-session online class that meets every other week.

Learn the habits and beliefs of women who are successful and happy. I did the research for you: I asked successful happy women what they do (example - setting boundaries) and what they avoid (example - time wasters) that add up to being happy and successful. This is a 7 - session course that meets every two weeks. There will be homework between sessions to help you incorporate new habits and choices into your life.
